Indo Eco Ventures was born from the vision of the founder and entrepreneuer couple: Sarah and Steve, who transform innovative ideas into landmark projects in Indonesia - most notably SUKU Lifestyle Hotel and SUKU Villas in Selong Belanak South Lombok, Indonesia. With a commitment to hands-on quality, creativity and expertise, they established a trusted name in real estate investment and sustainable hospitality in south Lombok. Building on this foundation, Indo Eco Ventures grew as Wolfgang and Timo joined the team, bringing strategic expertise in finance, operations and marketing. This collaboration strengthened the venture’s ability to deliver innovative property investments and hospitality solutions in Lombok’s thriving destinations.

Sarah
Sarah is the owner of SUKU Lombok and holds a degree in international business, leveraging her extensive network to drive business success. Born and raised in Lombok, she brings over 10 years of entrepreneurial spirit and deep-rooted local knowledge to Indo Eco Ventures. Her expertise in hospitality and the customer journey enables her to create exceptional guest experiences. Known for her keen eye for detail, Sarah is passionately committed to the sustainable development of her home island. She actively promotes female empowerment, ensuring that her projects not only respect local culture but also foster inclusive growth and opportunity.
Steve
Steffen Mayer is the owner of SUKU Lombok, bringing a degree in Economics and a deep commitment to the sustainable development of Lombok. Together with his wife Sarah, he is one of the pioneers in Selong Blanak, having been among the very first to offer accommodation in the area of Selong Belanak since 2017. Over the years, Steffen's expertise and experience have grown steadily, shaping Lombok's hospitality landscape. As a construction expert with extensive international networks, he is dedicated to creating value that satisfies both investors and travelers, fostering a vibrant and sustainable hospitality sector on Lombok.
Wolfgang
Dr. Wolfgang Köhler brings over 15 years of corporate experience to Indo Eco Ventures, including more than a decade with Deloitte in international risk management consulting. He holds a PhD in Economics and Social Sciences, where he focused on digital transformation and compliance. Driven by a long-standing connection to Indonesia and a passion for development, Wolfgang relocated to Lombok to dedicate himself fully to real estate and hospitality ventures. His role centers on strategic development, investor relations, and ensuring that every project reflects both international standards and long-term value.
Timo
Timo Zepp is part of the Creative Direction at Indo Eco Ventures, bringing over 10 years of experience in the creative sector. A creativity enthusiast with a passion for architecture, food and nature, underlined by a degree in Economics specializing in marketing. Timo excels at developing innovative concepts, memorable brand experiences, and seamless customer journeys. His role is to translate visionary ideas into experiences that create lasting value for both customers and investors. He blends creativity with strategic business foresight to elevate every project.

In 2013, during their international studies at Udayana University in Bali, Steve, Wolfgang and Timo met through the International Business Studies Network (IBSN). Driven by the beauty and fascination of Indonesia a longlasting friendship emerged. With a shared enthusiasm for architecture and meaningful development projects across Indonesia, Wolfgang and Timo soon became integral to the journey. Their combined strengths in strategy, finance and marketing propelled into new ventures, opening opportunities in Lombok’s thriving real estate and hospitality sector. Today, Indo Eco Ventures unites an international network of expertise and operational excellence with strategic foresight to create unique real estate investments with Villa, Hotel and hospitality experiences in Selong Belanak, Lombok.
